“Bridging the gap between Christ and humanity through reconciliation not condemnation.”
Reach, Teach, & Grow
Reaching the alienated, isolated and hurting and introducing them to the love of Jesus Christ.
Teaching biblical principles to build healthy individuals, families and communities through training on the practical application of these principles in daily living.
Growing in faith, wisdom and knowledge to achieve God’s purpose and plan. We are committed to Christian growth and development, empowering each person to fulfill God’s plan for their life.
Our Church
Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church is pastored by Rev. David O. Williams. Rev. Williams’ mission is bridging the gap between Christ and humanity through reconciliation, out of which is born the church motto “Reconciliation not Condemnation.” Rev. David Williams assumed the role of Pastor in 2019. Under his leadership Sulphur Springs expanded ministry platforms to include digital media and dial in options as needed. All Sunday services may be attended in person, online or by phone. (Sunday services are the only services that are conducted on site at that church.)
Our Foundational Beliefs
We believe in the Divine Trinity. This Divine Trinity is the union of three persons (Father: God, Son: Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit) in one Godhead. We believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of humanity so all Creation may have the opportunity for salvation (deliverance from sin and its consequences).
We believe Salvation is a free gift of grace from God that is received through repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
How We Serve
Our church has the following areas of opportunity for members to serve: Missionary Society, Pastor’s Aid Society, Ushers Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Choir. A servant’s heart is at the core of how we spread the gospel. Join us in serving!
